Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. He shot to fame after his performance on Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared on 20 features such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma that he was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The body of his was greatly affected by treatment, and development slowed down. At the time he started to make decisions, financial security was the ultimate ambition. He'd experienced poverty during his early years. He said in an interview that he said that if I do not have the financial security or have a feeling of being out of touch with the world, I'll be unhappy. He also looks back at his youth and hopes to take action on the issue of bullies. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. He says that his ideal role would be to portray a dad in both the real world and on film. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. It's a dream to be one day a parent himself, when he will be able spend less time on career and spend more time with his children.
